The company now known as Ewald + Goerke GmbH was founded in 1981 as a civil-law partnership by owners Peter Ewald and Reinhard Goerke in Hemer, in the Märkischer Kreis region of Germany. At first, the object of the company was tank and equipment construction for the electroplating industry, as well as custom production using plastics for various industries.
In 1983 the company moved to a larger building – in Menden (Sauerland), Germany – with more space available for production.
A successful expansion of the company’s activities to include laboratory technology and plastics construction for mechanical engineering, as well as a growing number of personnel, necessitated another move in 1987 to the company’s current premises.
Ewald + Goerke GmbH, the form in which company currently operates, was founded in 1991.
The larger production space and increasing number of personnel now also allow efficient series production, in addition to one-off and custom production.
Our flexibility for one-off and custom models remains an important part of our philosophy to this day.
